How does Relays work?

Sign up with a time for each discipline you race — a 1 km swim, a 40 km bike or a 10 km run — or switch on kayak, inline skating or paragliding.

Pick the races you want to do. On each one, say whether you are looking for someone for a leg, or want to join a team as that leg. Everyone at the race sees who is looking and who is offering, and you can message them to form a team.

What is a swimrun partner?

Swimrun races are done in pairs: both of you swim and both of you run, the whole course. So a swimrun race has one role instead of legs — a swimrun partner.

You can be one if your profile has both a swim and a run time. Partner lists show both times, so you can find someone your pace.

Will I be notified when someone matches me?

Yes. When someone offers to take a leg you are looking for, or starts looking for a leg you offered, Relays sends you a notification. Allow notifications when the app asks, or turn them on later in your phone's settings.

My race isn't in the list

Races are added by hand. Write to filipvabrousek1@gmail.com with the race name, date, country, website and which disciplines it has, and it will be added.

How do I change my times or disciplines?

Open Settings and go to My disciplines. Changing a time there changes it everywhere, including on the races you have already joined.

How do I report or block someone?

On iPhone, open your conversation with them; on Android, open their profile. Tap Report to tell us what happened, or Block so that neither of you sees the other in lists or messages.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings and tap Delete account. That removes your profile and your sign-in, and it cannot be undone.

Does Relays cost anything?

No. Relays is free, with no ads.
